The story behind uversa
Die Firma KonTec Maschinenbau GmbH The company KonTec Maschinenbau GmbH was established in the year 2000 and has been advancing continuously since then. With an engaged team of 20 employees, all experts in their field, we always strive to develop incredible solutions for machine engineering. Our longstanding experience and our knowledge in our field inspired us, to create our own product, to meet highest requirements.
We decided to create uversa in 2019. Our goal was, to create products, that aren’t only well engineered but are also user friendly and long lasting. We want to offer our clients the best price/performance ratio, without compromising on quality.
Our Mission
The implementation of projects in mechanical and plant engineering is usually very extensive, as every single component needs to be developed, planned, constructed, produced and tested. Even smaller setups can quickly result in significant time and cost expenditures.
This is where we, as an experienced service provider in special-purpose machine construction, provide support. uversa makes the work of designers easier with practical and well-thought-out base modules. Not only do you save time, but also production costs – especially for parts that are only needed in small quantities. Our modules are regularly produced in large quantities so they are already in stock for your convenience.
Products and Systems
The products offered by uversa serve as the link between automation technology (guides, cylinders, gripper systems, sensors, etc.) and available space. Over the past years, we have developed a well-thought-out „modular system“ for this purpose. Frequently required elements for column structures have been standardized, optimized, and aligned to offer them as standards in various sizes. This way, there’s no need to reinvent the wheel for constructions involving column setups. Machine and plant engineers can rely on our proven system.
The process, from planning with our CAD data to assembling the construction with our individual parts, is straightforward and efficient. The strengths of our components become particularly evident in special-purpose machine construction when flexibility, as well as stability, durability, and precision, are required. Mounted components can be precisely adjusted and aligned using our base modules to compensate for tolerances with high accuracy. Our elements are ideal for assembly fixtures or as stands for light barriers, proximity switches, and similar applications.
With our flexible and perfectly coordinated modules, many conventional construction systems, which are often complex and expensive, can be replaced. uversa’s kit of standard elements is well-designed, surprisingly simple, and can be individually tailored for any project. It also allows you to expand your column setup in any direction.
Your Partner in Mechanical Engineering
We offer all components in various designs (size, color, etc.) and matching columns (shafts) in your desired length. If needed, we also provide intermediate sizes, manufacture adapter plates with additional mounting hole patterns according to your specifications, or produce entirely new components that seamlessly integrate into our system.
